Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh urges best use of AI, blockchain for humanity’s benefit at National Conference.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the essential role of AI and blockchain technologies at the National Conference on Cybersecurity, AI, and Blockchain. He emphasised that these innovations are no longer optional but imperative for the future.
Addressing the gathering at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Singh noted the importance of utilising these technologies for the betterment of mankind, stressing that the challenge lies in their optimal application.
The minister praised India’s technological advancements and innovative policies driven by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. He also discussed India’s pioneering initiatives, such as the Department of Pensions’ adoption of face recognition for Digital Life Certificates, allowing pensioners to access services from home.
Dr. Singh underscored the need for collaboration between the government and private sectors to address challenges posed by technology and to combat narrow vested interests. He urged unity for making India a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, emphasising that innovation and technology will be central to this transformation.
