The long-awaited National Logistics Policy will be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi this month. The policy formulation at the national level has been completed and 12 states have formed their own logistics policy, which includes Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu.
Also the much talked about Gati Shakti Master Plan aims to streamline the logistics and multi-modal connectivity operations of various departments, ministries for integrated planning and coordinated implementation, through a digital platform which uses spatial planning tools as well as imagery developed by Indian Space Research Organisation.
