Global supply chain solutions provider, AIT Worldwide Logistics, finalises the acquisition of Lubbers Logistics Group, adding over 350 team members across 18 offices to AIT’s expanding European network.
AIT Worldwide Logistics has successfully completed its acquisition of Lubbers Logistics Group, a European company specialising in intricate and time-sensitive transport services. The acquisition, initially disclosed on November 17, 2023, amplifies AIT’s global influence and enriches its capabilities within road transport and energy logistics.
Headquartered in Schoonebeek, Netherlands, Lubbers Logistics Group brings over 350 employees spread across nine road transport hubs and nine freight locations. This strategic move further extends AIT’s already extensive European network.
Combined with the Lubbers acquisition, AIT’s European presence now encompasses more than 45 offices across 13 countries, establishing itself as the company’s second-largest region globally, following North America.
