Chennai Port infrastructure gets a boost with new road, EXIM godowns, rail connectivity, and shore power facility.
Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated several key infrastructure projects worth ₹187.33 crore at Chennai Port and Kamarajar Port. The projects aim to expand port capacity, support eco-friendly practices, and streamline trade operations, aligning with India’s maritime modernisation goals.
