Shadowfax launches SF Maps, an AI-based system enhancing delivery accuracy to over 90 percent within 100 metres.
Shadowfax has launched SF Maps, an advanced AI-based address intelligence system. This innovative tool aims to significantly enhance delivery accuracy and efficiency by predicting customer locations with over 90 percent precision within 100 metres, according to an official release.
“SF Maps enhances navigation for delivery partners and reduces address-related cancellations for e-commerce and D2C brands,” the release states. Indian addresses often present challenges due to their unstructured nature, language gaps, and input errors, making precise delivery difficult. SF Maps addresses these issues using a sophisticated AI/ML model trained on over 1.5 billion past delivery data points from Shadowfax.
The model effectively handles incomplete addresses, ambiguous area names, and inaccurate pincodes. Since its implementation, SF Maps has reduced customer cancellations by nearly 10 percent and increased the Net Promoter Score by 25 percent. Chief Technology Officer Vaibhav Khandelwal highlights SF Maps as a significant step in optimising delivery speed and customer experience while solving last-mile logistics problems. The system utilises a custom-built AI model and real-time feedback for continuous improvement.
