SF Airlines continues to expand its operations from Ezhou Huahu Airport by introducing a second freighter service to Europe. The new twice-weekly route will connect Ezhou to Frankfurt, utilising a Boeing 747-400 freighter. This service complements SF Airlines’ existing European route from Ezhou, which includes a stop at Liege. The airline’s focus for these flights will be on transporting express mail, e-commerce cargo, and general cargo. Ezhou Huahu Airport, China’s first dedicated cargo hub airport, officially commenced operations in July of last year.
In April, it witnessed its first international flight. SF Airlines has been actively developing its international network from Ezhou, with flights to Liege, Chennai, Delhi, Los Angeles, and Frankfurt. The carrier aims to establish an air network that spans from Ezhou to Europe, South Asia, and North America. This expansion aligns with SF Airlines’ goal to bolster the local air logistics industry, promote the export-oriented economy, and transform Ezhou Huahu Airport into a world-class air cargo hub.
