Transindia Real Estate announces Ram Walase as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Transindia Real Estate, formerly known as Transindia Realty & Logistics Parks, part of the Allcargo Group, has named Ram Walase as its Chief Executive Officer. With an extensive background spanning 25 years in real estate, infrastructure, and project finance, Ram, an alumnus of IIM Mumbai, brings a wealth of leadership experience to the role.
In his capacity as CEO, Ram will oversee profit and loss responsibilities, drive business expansion, and formulate financial strategies for the Group’s real estate ventures. Collaborating with Jatin Chokshi, Managing Director of Transindia Real Estate, Ram will focus on identifying land parcels, executing logistics and infrastructure projects, exploring public-private partnership opportunities, and engaging in the government’s asset monetization initiatives.
Jatin Chokshi welcomed Ram’s appointment, citing it as a strategic move to fortify Transindia’s real estate endeavors and operational efficacy. Ram expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Allcargo Group and Transindia Real Estate, emphasising the company’s pivotal role in warehousing and commercial sectors. As Transindia continues to evolve under the Allcargo Group umbrella, Ram’s appointment signifies a concerted effort to drive growth and innovation in the real estate domain.
