Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, visiting Ranchi, appeals for the Jharkhand government’s cooperation in advancing ongoing railway projects. He highlights the Centre’s substantial investment of Rs. 43,211 crore allocated for the state’s railway infrastructure.
Vaishnaw emphasises the remarkable increase in the railway budget for Jharkhand, rising from Rs. 2,800 crore before 2014 to the current Rs. 5,271 crore. Expressing the Centre’s commitment to transforming 57 stations into world-class facilities, Vaishnaw urges collaboration for smoother project execution, addressing issues such as land and forest clearance and maintaining law and order.
The minister also encourages the state to adhere to the ‘development formula’ advocated by PM Modi, emphasising a non-negotiable commitment to Jharkhand’s progress.
