PM Modi addresses Bharat Battery Show 2025, emphasising battery tech innovation.
The Bharat Battery Show, a key highlight of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, was inaugurated with an inspiring address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reaffirming the government’s dedication to fostering innovation in battery storage technology. Held in New Delhi, the event drew over 10,000 visitors on its opening day.
During his visit, Modi explored exhibits by Epsilon Advanced Materials, Lohum, LICO Materials, and Battrix, showcasing advancements in ACC battery manufacturing, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and circular economy initiatives. He emphasised India’s ambition to lead the global clean energy transition through collaboration and cutting-edge technologies.
The event also featured over 100 exhibitors presenting innovations in battery manufacturing, recycling, and charging infrastructure. Vikram Handa, Managing Director of Epsilon Advanced Materials, lauded Modi’s presence for boosting industry confidence.
Debi Prasad Dash, President of IESA, highlighted the show as a vital platform for fostering collaboration between the government and global stakeholders, advancing India’s clean energy vision. Emerging companies like Vecmocon and Recycle Karo showcased pioneering battery solutions, aligning with the nation’s sustainability goals.
