Mahindra Logistics unveils ‘Emission Analytics Report’ on India’s Independence Day, enhancing real-time carbon emission tracking for transportation.
On India’s 78th Independence Day, Mahindra Logistics introduced the ‘Emission Analytics Report,’ a digital platform integrated into their green logistics ecosystem, Edel. This new tool allows customers to monitor transportation-related Scope 3 emissions in real time. The platform provides detailed insights into emissions intensity, tonne-kilometres, transport mode emissions, and fuel usage, with emissions savings certificates available through a monthly subscription.
Accredited by the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) and ISO 14083, it is accessible via a fully automated SaaS platform on web and mobile devices. The report supports companies in meeting BRSR and other environmental regulations, offering shipment-level Scope 3 emissions reporting across various industries.
Rampraveen Swaminathan, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Logistics, highlighted the platform’s role in India’s Net-Zero goal by 2070. Swayantani Ghosh, Chief Sustainability & CSR Officer, emphasised its capability to track and analyse carbon footprints, aiding in decarbonization efforts. The Emission Analytics Report expands Edel’s green logistics services, which include carbon-neutral warehousing and electric vehicle fleets.
