The 47th Annual Convention of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from November 23 to November 26, 2023. Experts in the air cargo sector, including those from airports, airlines, freight forwarders, custom house agents, associations, and end users, will attend the three-day convention. Kuala Lumpur will host this year’s Annual Convention, according to President M Afzal Malbarwala.
ACAAI was established in 1970 with just 16 members and now boasts close to 600 members. The head office of the ACAAI is in Mumbai, and there are eight regional offices spread across New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Kerala (Trivandrum & Cochin), Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. For the benefit of its members, the association maintains tight relationships with international organisations like IATA, FIATA, and FAPAA as well as government ministries, departments, airport operators, airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and bonded truckers.
The ACAAI works to protect and advance the interests of its members by offering them expert advice and assistance on pertinent issues affecting them and the industry. It works to promote the expansion and efficient operation of the air cargo sector and is essential to India’s achievement of its export goals.
