JCB launches the T 65D Telescopic Boom Platform in India, showcasing safety and efficiency.
On August 26, 2024, JCB, a global leader in material handling, unveiled its inaugural diesel Telescopic Boom Platform, the T 65D, at the Aerial Platform Association of India’s (APAOI) conference in Goa. The T 65D, produced at JCB’s advanced factory in Jaipur, stands out with its high standards in reliability, efficiency, comfort, and safety.
JCB India’s CEO, Deepak Shetty, highlighted the machine’s design focus on safety and productivity. “This state-of-the-art equipment, built to international standards, offers customers a dependable, locally-manufactured option with comprehensive support,” he stated.
The T 65D features a 65 ft 4 in platform height, a 56 ft 6 in reach, and a 450 kg maximum load. It includes advanced safety systems, such as a secondary guarding mechanism and ergonomic controls. The model is set for both domestic and international markets, reflecting JCB’s commitment to its Make in India initiative.
