IndiGo Airlines has announced the resumption of direct flights between Belagavi and Delhi from October 1. The move comes after SpiceJet discontinued the route in December 2022 due to aircraft shortages. IndiGo’s decision is a welcome development, particularly for the local industrial sector.
In addition, IndiGo Airlines will introduce flight services between Pune and Belagavi three days a week starting October 29, while Star Air will launch daily flights connecting Belagavi and Pune on the same date. Rajya Sabha member Iranna Kadadi conveyed the news through Twitter, expressing gratitude to both airlines for boosting connectivity to Delhi and Pune.
