GR Logistics Park (Indore) (GRIP) and PSA Ameya formalised an agreement to establish an Inland Container Depot (ICD) at the Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Indore, marking a significant development in India’s logistics sector.
GR Logistics Park (Indore) (GRIP), a subsidiary of G R Infraprojects (GRIL), and PSA Ameya (PSA), a subsidiary of PSA India, have announced a strategic partnership to set up an Inland Container Depot (ICD) at the Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Indore.
This collaboration follows GRIP securing the MMLP project and signing a 45-year concession agreement with National Highways Logistics Management (NHLML), a subsidiary of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The MMLP in Indore will offer warehousing, an ICD, a domestic container terminal, and a private freight terminal, among other amenities. Under the partnership, GRIL will oversee the MMLP’s development, while PSA will manage containerised rail operations, leveraging its expertise from Nhava Sheva Port (Navi Mumbai).
This venture marks PSA’s entry into rail ICD operations in India and signals potential long-term collaboration between the partners on future projects.
