The GMR School of Aviation, inaugurated at the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park, introduces a groundbreaking 4-year Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) program, including type training, certified by EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) and DGCA.
Collaborating with Airbus, the school offers a Combined B1.1 and B2 AME licensing program, along with specialised courses in Aircraft Specific Type Training, Aircraft Structures, Aircraft Composite, and other Ancillary Courses.
Eligibility requires a 10+2 background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with admission based on an entrance examination requiring a minimum score of 65 percent.
EASA program participants can anticipate two years of academic training on campus and two years of hands-on experience at GMR Aero Technic. The rigorous curriculum prepares students for certification processes and regulatory compliance, offering job opportunities in the niche aviation segment upon completion. The GMR School of Aviation stands as a transformative step in cultivating skilled professionals for the aviation industry.
