UPSIDA grants unique IDs to four key warehousing and logistics schemes across UP, unlocking ₹1100 cr investment and regional job creation.

A high-level review of logistics project proposals was conducted by the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) on 15 December 2025.
The meeting resulted in the approval of four projects for the issuance of unique identification codes, an essential administrative step designed to expedite their implementation.
These approved schemes involve setting up logistics and warehousing facilities across several districts in the state. Key proposals that secured the unique IDs include ventures by OWM in Varanasi, RP & Sons in Moradabad, and AMT and Reciprocal in Lucknow.
Collectively, these four projects represent a proposed capital investment of approximately ₹1,100 crore (eleven billion rupees). Officials anticipate that these ventures will significantly enhance the state’s modern logistics infrastructure and generate substantial employment.
Following this latest clearance, UPSIDA has now approved a total of 45 projects under the state’s Warehousing and Logistics Policy-2022 and the PIP Policy. These schemes are slated for development across 650 acres of land, with a combined proposed investment reaching around ₹11,610 crore.
UPSIDA officials stated that the state government’s objective is to establish Uttar Pradesh as a “logistics hub,” offering a favourable investment climate supported by robust, modern infrastructure.
The Chief Executive Officer of UPSIDA, Vijay Kiran Anand, commented that the initiatives to bolster the logistics and warehousing sector are providing new momentum to the state’s industrial direction. He added that UPSIDA is “committed to translating the government’s vision into reality on the ground,” noting that the approved projects are crucial for expanding infrastructure, promoting regional development, and creating jobs.
“We are proactive not only in attracting investments but also in ensuring their effective implementation,” he noted, highlighting plans to create opportunities for even larger investments in the logistics sector to accelerate progress toward the vision of a USD 1 trillion economy.
