FFFAI becomes a member of the Gujarat Maritime Cluster at GIFT City meeting.
The Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI), led by Chairman Dushyant Mulani, organised a delegation visit to Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad on May 31, 2024. The visit aimed to explore logistics business opportunities in this innovative financial and smart city.
During the event, the FFFAI delegation engaged in detailed discussions with officials from GIFT City, Price Waterhouse, Axis Bank, and the Gujarat Maritime Cluster (GMC). A major highlight was FFFAI’s official induction as a member of the GMC, India’s first commercial maritime cluster. This membership promises synergetic collaboration, bringing together maritime industry players, service providers, and regulatory agencies within the GIFT City ecosystem.
Mulani emphasised that joining the GMC will bolster collaborative efforts in the maritime and logistics sectors, enhancing trade efficiency and promoting industry growth. He expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential to create new opportunities and stressed the strategic importance of aligning with top financial and maritime institutions.
