ESR Group has acquired 58 acres of land in Nagpur to establish a logistics park, with plans to invest Rs 400 crore (USD 48 million) in its construction and development. This will mark ESR Group’s second logistics park in Nagpur and its twentieth in India.
The park is expected to provide modern Grade A logistics facilities within the Gondkhairi-Kalmeshwar logistics cluster, featuring ten buildings with sizes ranging from 67,000 sq ft to 1,90,000 sq ft. These buildings will cater to various tenant needs, spanning e-commerce, third-party logistics (3PL), retail, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
ESR Group’s previous logistics park in Nagpur, ESR Nagpur Logistics Park 1, has been operating at full capacity since its completion in 2020.
ESR Group, with a development work-in-progress of USD 13 billion as of June 30, 2023, has been achieving significant milestones in the logistics and warehousing sector. In India, the company manages approximately USD 1.6 billion in assets. In the first half of 2023, ESR recorded a record USD 3.8 billion in development starts and delivered USD 2.2 billion in completions.
