Dholera Airport set to begin international air cargo operations in July 2025.
Dholera International Airport Company Limited (DIACL) is set to kick off international air cargo operations by June or July 2025. Located just two hours from Ahmedabad, the airport’s construction is progressing rapidly, including the greenfield expressway to Dholera airport.
DIACL has already called for tenders for the operation and management of the international cargo terminal and ground handling services, with bids scheduled to open in March 2025. The Air Cargo Terminal will span approximately 10,700 sq. m, with a built-up area of 2,450 sq. m and an 8,800 sq. m paved area. An additional 4,260 sq. m of airside ramp area will be dedicated to cargo handling.
