ICD Dadri hits new heights in reefer container operations, handling over 46,500 TEUs.
CONCOR India – ICD, Dadri, has been honoured for ‘Excellence in Reefer Container Operations’ at the CargoNXT recognitions on September 6th held at The Park Hotel, Delhi, organised by Cargo Insights. The terminal has achieved exceptional growth in managing reefer containers, handling a record 46,500 TEUs last financial year, a significant increase from 4,900 TEUs in 2004-05.
ICD/Dadri stands out as the sole terminal in the region offering dedicated reefer facilities, including a Refrigerated Park with Chiller and Freezer Chambers. Covering 22,792 square meters, this facility provides eight chambers with temperatures from -22°C to +2°C and 13 docking facilities. Furthermore, the terminal has enhanced its import capabilities with a Power Pack system to ensure uninterrupted power for reefer containers. This recognition underscores ICD/Dadri’s pivotal role in supporting the logistics of perishables across northern India.
