Philomena Pereira recognised Logistics Woman Leader of the Year at CargoNXT 2025.
At the third edition of the CargoNXT Conference & Recognitions held in Mumbai, Philomena Pereira, Managing Director of P.V. Agencies Freight Forwarders, was honoured with the prestigious “Logistics Woman Leader of the Year” recognition. This recognition celebrates her decades-long dedication to transforming India’s logistics landscape.
Since 1999, Pereira has stood out as one of the country’s pioneering women customs brokers. Her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to collaboration have driven the exponential growth of P.V. Agencies. Beyond business, she plays a key role as a mentor with the Women’s Wing of FFFAI, inspiring and empowering future women leaders in logistics.
She received the recognition from Shri Nilank Kumar, IRS, Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai; Shri Hardeep Batra, Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo, Mumbai; Shri Deepak Shetty, IRS (Retd.), former DG Shipping; along with Jatin Sahni and Yogita Bhurani, Co-founders of Cargo Insights.
