The leading logistics software solutions provider, Cargo Flash Infotech, successfully hosted the first TIACA (The International Air Cargo Association) Regional Event-India from March 27-29, 2023, at the ITC Maurya, New Delhi. The event was led by Co-founder and Director Jasraj Chug. He was accompanied by Gautam Mandal, Director of Products, and the Cargo Flash team, who ensured a successful start, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony and participation from notable dignitaries. During the welcome address, Chug appreciated the ecosystem’s significant contributions, followed by PM’s initiatives like ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’. He mentioned, “The sector may not be withstanding the short-term distortions as passenger capacity is bouncing back and yields decreasing; however, there is a sturdy future for Air Cargo for the next 20 years.”
The participants discussed employing digital innovation to enhance industry efficiency and service offerings for fast, effective, predictable, and transparent solutions. Mandal shared how Cargo Flash helped its airline customers capture new revenue opportunities and serve the fast-growing e-commerce cross-border market. The company guided them to achieve this without significant infrastructural investments and employing technology to control the entire business model, thus upgrading the airline to become a ‘Virtual Integrator’.
Mandal also revealed the upcoming platform by Cargo Flash, Octoloop, and how it will revolutionise air cargo booking. It is a neutral distribution platform for airlines and freight forwarders. It provides real-time and automated rate and route, capacity updates, and predictive analysis for seamless bookings. In addition, the online tool resolves the challenging interline contract and payment settlements by digitalising the entire process.
