Borzo names Alina Kisina as CEO to boost global growth and innovation.
Borzo has appointed Alina Kisina as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 2024. Alina, previously Borzo’s Global VP Sales, has been promoted to CEO, bringing her extensive experience in logistics and e-commerce. During her tenure, she significantly advanced Borzo’s last-mile delivery services. Kisina, who reports to Founder and Chairman Mike Alexandrovski, has over two decades of industry expertise and a proven track record of achieving growth in various markets.
Her professional background includes leadership roles at DHL, Gett Delivery, and Lamoda Group, where she excelled in building strong sales teams and driving revenue growth. Kisina’s appointment marks a transformative phase for Borzo, focusing on aggressive growth in India’s SMB and Enterprise delivery segments.
Kisina emphasised the company’s commitment to sustaining success and exploring new strategies to enhance market position through increased revenue, robust delivery networks, and new delivery modes. She also highlighted a strong focus on sustainability and product innovation. “I am honoured to lead Borzo and excited about accelerating the company’s growth and expansion,” she said.
As CEO, Kisina will oversee operations in India, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, and Indonesia. Her strategic foresight and leadership will guide Borzo through this pivotal transformation, aiming to cement its leadership in the intra-city delivery segment and expand its global reach.
Mike Alexandrovski praised Kisina’s contributions to Borzo and emphasised her role in driving operational excellence and innovation. He noted that Kisina would prioritise expansion in key regions to meet the growing logistics needs and capture market share.
Kisina will visit India for Borzo Connect, a conference addressing the challenges faced by MSMEs, on June 21, 2024, at NESCO, Mumbai, where she will deliver the opening address.
