The 10th edition of air cargo India, held from 14-16 February 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, witnessed a surge in ideas and collaborations within the air freight industry.
From February 14-16, 2024, the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai hosted the 10th edition of air cargo India, where a notable increase in ideas and collaborations emerged within the air freight industry.
With a massive turnout of 6,100 visitors, including key dignitaries and global air cargo leaders, the event focused on crucial themes like expanding capacity, digitization, and sustainability, along with the booming sectors of pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, and e-commerce. The 300+ exhibiting brands and 600+ conference delegates from 50+ countries marked a 24 percent increase in exhibition space compared to the previous edition.
Stakeholders expressed delight at the curated experiences, knowledge exchange, and potential partnerships stemming from the platform. The inauguration ceremony was graced by industry veterans and foreign mission representatives. Elisabeth Oudkerk of Qatar Airways, awarded Air Cargo Woman Leader of the Year, emphasised the importance of women’s contributions to the industry.
Leading exhibitor, Abdulla Alkhallafi of Emirates SkyCargo, highlighted the significance of customer feedback in shaping their solutions. Ramesh Mamidala, Head of Air Cargo at Tata Air India, noted the platform’s value for sharing expertise and building partnerships.
The content-focused conferences, featuring 50+ speakers, delved into capacity expansion, sustainability, digitization, and technology solutions for specific sectors like pharmaceuticals and e-commerce. Bhupinder Singh, CEO of Messe Muenchen India, expressed delight at the overwhelming response, foreseeing a positive impact on the Indian air cargo industry’s competitiveness. Dr. Robert Schönberger of Messe München GmbH praised air cargo India’s leadership and enriching discussions on logistics solutions for various sectors.
