DTDC Express appoints Abhishek Chakraborty as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a new era of innovation and growth in the logistics sector.
DTDC Express has announced the appointment of Abhishek Chakraborty as its Chief Executive Officer, effective April 3rd, 2024.
In his new capacity, Abhishek is poised to steer DTDC towards greater heights, emphasising innovation and technological advancement. His vision includes harnessing cutting-edge technologies, fostering a culture of learning, and nurturing strategic collaborations to drive substantial growth and transformation within the company.
Expressing his gratitude and determination, Abhishek Chakraborty stated, “Assuming the role of CEO at DTDC is a tremendous honour. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Abhishek served as the Executive Director of DTDC for 15 years, during which he spearheaded various successful initiatives. Notable among these was the strategic partnership between DTDC and Geopost, as well as the DTDC and Amarex collaboration. His leadership also led to the introduction of innovative services like the MyDTDC app and DTDCShipAssure™, contributing to the company’s remarkable expansion. Under his guidance, DTDC’s network grew to encompass over 16,000 partners, serving 96 percent of India’s population and the wider South Asian diaspora globally.
