Logitech starts local assembly in Haryana, marking a major step in its India strategy.

Swiss technology company Logitech has commenced manufacturing operations in India, partnering with a local electronics manufacturing services provider to set up assembly operations in Manesar, Haryana. The move marks a significant milestone in Logitech’s 45-year history as it deepens its engagement with the Indian market.
Sree Chenincherry, Chief Supply Chain Operations Officer at Logitech, said the move was a market-driven strategy aimed at improving operational agility and supply chain resilience. Production has begun with webcams, before expanding into mice and keyboards. The facility complements Logitech’s existing research and development hub in Chennai, which supports both global product development and localised enterprise requirements.
Delphine Donné, Vice President and General Manager of Personal Work Solutions at Logitech, said combining local production with R&D and commercial operations gave the company proximity to both innovation and the market. While the Manesar facility currently serves domestic demand, Logitech said using India as an export hub could become a viable opportunity as local capabilities mature.
