Allcargo Logistics has expanded its transshipment centres and PIN code coverage to support India’s growing consumer durables sector.

Allcargo Logistics, an integrated logistics provider operating its Domestic Supply Chain, Express Distribution and Consultative Logistics businesses, continues to strengthen its capabilities in serving India’s consumer durables sector through technology-led operations, multimodal distribution channels and a growing nationwide infrastructure network.
The company supports the sector through 76 strategically located distribution and transshipment facilities, having expanded and recategorised its transshipment centres from 21 to 71. The recently announced Allcargo Extended Reach network now covers 100 per cent of India’s available PIN codes, with mapped PIN codes increasing from 21,000 to over 32,000 and direct serviceable PIN codes more than doubling from 4,900 to over 10,000 through Allcargo Distribution Centres.
Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Allcargo Logistics, said India’s consumer durables sector required supply chains that were agile, technology-enabled and capable of scaling rapidly across diverse consumption markets, particularly as distribution networks expand into Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. The company’s integrated logistics ecosystem combines warehousing, first and last-mile connectivity, air express and ground express services.
The ongoing summer season and above-normal temperature forecasts in several parts of the country are contributing to higher demand for cooling appliances and faster retail replenishment cycles. As part of Allcargo Group, which has more than four decades of national and international supply chain experience, Allcargo Logistics continues to invest in digital integration, real-time cargo tracking and cloud-enabled infrastructure to improve supply chain planning and operational efficiency.
