Currently, the Indian Oil Corporation supplies petrol and diesel to the government-owned Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) via pipeline.
Since 2017, the NOC has been using the Motihari-Amlekhgunj petroleum pipeline to transport diesel; since March 2025, it has increased its use to include petrol.
