FFFAI invites young logistics talent to apply for FIATA’s global award with training, exposure, and international opportunities.

In a major boost for emerging talent in India’s logistics sector, the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) has invited applications for the prestigious FIATA Young Logistics Professionals Award 2026. The initiative aims to promote young entrepreneurs, freight forwarders, and second-generation logisticians by offering global exposure, specialised training, and international recognition.
The invitation is open to FFFAI members and logistics professionals aged 18 to 35 as of January 1, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to possess at least two years of full-time experience in supply chain logistics. As part of the nomination process, participants must submit a dissertation on a topic assigned by FIATA, showcasing their analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills in freight forwarding and supply chain management.
The dissertation—ranging between 4,000 to 6,000 words, must include two multimodal freight forwarding case studies, featuring one key import and one major export cargo relevant to the candidate’s country. Graphs, images, and examples may accompany the document, which must be submitted as a single unlocked Word file.
FFFAI’s selection panel will evaluate submissions based on clarity, research depth, innovation, cost-effective recommendations, and the candidate’s ability to identify opportunities and propose actionable solutions.
Application timeline:
- December 15, 2025: Last date to submit registration forms to FFFAI
- December 20, 2025: Eligible candidates receive topic and questionnaire
- January 5, 2026: Deadline to submit questionnaire responses and dissertation
- January 10, 2026: Final nominee announced by FFFAI
Submissions must be routed only through FFFAI; direct entries to FIATA will be rejected.
Regional winners will receive exceptional global career exposure, including:
- Attendance at the FIATA World Congress with travel and accommodation
- Two weeks of specialised training: one academic week in London and one practical week at TT Club regional centres (London, Hong Kong, or New Jersey)
- Publication of their professional journey in leading global trade journals
- Official FIATA/YLP certification and website recognition
The award underscores FIATA and FFFAI’s shared commitment to strengthening quality, innovation, and leadership within the forwarding industry.
