Dipanjan Banerjee to join Blue Dart Express as CCO from June 12, 2024, replacing Ketan Kulkarni.
Blue Dart Express has named Dipanjan Banerjee as its new chief commercial officer (CCO) and senior management personnel, effective June 12, 2024, according to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Banerjee succeeds Ketan Kulkarni, who joined Allcargo Group as chief growth officer in April 2024.
“Banerjee has approximately 15 years of experience in business development and market share growth for express delivery and logistics companies,” the filing noted. His most recent position was with Ecom Express as chief business officer. During his eight-year tenure at Ecom Express, Banerjee held various roles, including vice president of sales and general manager of sales. He also spent six years at FedEx Express from 2009 to 2016, culminating in his role as national account manager & vertical lead for e-commerce and retail.
Banerjee is a specialist in the supply chain domain with expertise in domestic and international express products, B2C, and contract logistics. He holds an MBA in Marketing & Sales. In his previous roles, he has contributed to developing and implementing strategic business plans, driving growth, and enhancing overall performance.
