LogiMAT India partners with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to boost knowledge, skills, and innovation for a million logistics jobs by 2027.
LogiMAT India, the logistics and warehousing exhibition platform, has joined forces with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to drive knowledge transfer, skill development, and innovation aimed at creating one crore jobs in the logistics sector by 2027. Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, situated in Vadodra, Gujarat, is a central university specialising in transport and logistics skill training.
India’s logistics industry, employing over 22 million people, is poised to add one crore jobs by 2027, according to LogiMAT. The collaboration seeks to facilitate a robust exchange of knowledge, endorse skill development initiatives, and encourage innovation.
LogiMAT also announced LogiMAT India 2024, an exhibition scheduled at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, from February 28 to March 1. Organised by Messe Stuttgart India, it is anticipated to showcase cutting-edge logistics technologies, serving as a satellite show of Europe’s prominent intra-logistics exhibition, LogiMAT Stuttgart.
