Chennai-based Wiz Freight has successfully raised Rs 125 crore in Series B funding, led by SBI Investment from Japan, with participation from Tiger Global, Nippon Express, Axilor Technologies Fund, Arali Investments, Unikon Shipping Ventures, and several family offices.
This funding round, marking a 50 percent increase in valuation from its previous round, aims to propel Wiz Freight’s global expansion into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the U.S. The company plans to leverage the investment to enhance its technology-driven logistics solutions.
Founded in January 2020, Wiz Freight is an AI-powered platform that provides instant capacity discovery, dynamic pricing, optimised routing, door-to-door tracking, and automated customizable document workflows. This Series B funding follows Wiz Freight’s successful Series A round in March 2022, where it secured Rs 275 crore ($36 million), led by Tiger Global with participation from Axilor Ventures, Foundamental, Arali Ventures, Alteria Capital, and Stride Ventures.
