National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has collaborated with M/s. DC Multi Modal Park (Nagpur), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of M/S. DeltaBulk Shipping India, to establish a 150-acre Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Nagpur. Valued at Rs. 673 crore and executed under PPP, it marks Maharashtra’s first MMLP under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
The three-phased project, with an initial investment of Rs. 137 crore, is set to boost industrial growth in Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, and Gondiya over 45 years, handling approximately 9.47 MMT of cargo.
Located strategically in Sindi, Wadha district, the MMLP enjoys proximity to key transportation routes and will offer comprehensive facilities, aligning with the government’s goal to enhance India’s freight logistics sector.
The development is undertaken through Nagpur MMLP, a government SPV in collaboration with NHLML and JNPA, aiming to streamline inter-modal freight movement, reduce costs, and improve traceability.
