Transport Corporation of India (TCI) has announced its integration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), becoming the first B2B logistics provider in India to go live on the platform. This milestone marks a significant step toward digital transformation in logistics, enabling seamless connectivity and cutting-edge services for businesses across the country.
ONDC, a government-backed initiative, aims to democratise digital commerce by creating an open and inclusive network for buyers and sellers. With TCI’s vast network of 1,400 branches and 15 million sq. ft. of warehousing space, the integration is expected to enhance delivery experiences, streamline supply chain operations, and expand market reach for businesses, particularly MSMEs.
Vineet Agarwal, Managing Director of TCI, emphasised the company’s commitment to advancing B2B logistics through innovative digital solutions. ONDC’s Managing Director, T Koshy, highlighted the partnership as a pivotal move toward improving operational efficiency and accessibility in the logistics sector. TCI’s onboarding was facilitated by ENS Enterprises, experts in digital commerce technology.
