SriLankan Cargo introduces revamped service delivery model and user-friendly website.
SriLankan Cargo, the air cargo division of SriLankan Airlines, has launched a new service delivery framework and an upgraded website aimed at enhancing customer experience. The new model categorises services into Freshness Class, Wellness Class, Precious Class, and Guardian Class, ensuring premium care for different types of consignments. The overhaul includes a 24/7 service hotline and a redesigned website for improved user experience.
Chaminda Perera, Head of Cargo at SriLankan Airlines, highlighted the innovation behind the new product verticals, emphasising the airline’s commitment to excellence in airfreight services. The Freshness and Wellness Classes focus on maintaining the quality of perishable goods and medical shipments through advanced cold chain management. Precious Class ensures high security for valuable items, while Guardian Class provides comfort for pets and animals during transport.
The updated website offers comprehensive information, including flight schedules, chargeable weight calculations, and air cargo charter requests, making it a vital resource for shipping decisions.
