RSIIL wins major contracts to improve Pune’s connectivity, valued at ₹4,900 crore.
Roadway Solutions India Infra (RSIIL) has been awarded two substantial infrastructure projects by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), valued at an estimated ₹4,900 crore. These projects are set to significantly enhance Pune’s connectivity and streamline traffic flow.
The primary project, the Access Controlled Pune Ring Road, involves the construction of a controlled-access highway on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode. This road will stretch from Village Lonikand to Village Walti in Maharashtra and is valued at approximately ₹2,251 crore. This development aims to improve the region’s transport infrastructure by providing a high-speed, uninterrupted route around Pune, reducing congestion and facilitating smoother traffic movement.
Additionally, the project includes constructing an Access Controlled Expressway Connector. This connector will link the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg from Jalna to Nanded, further integrating Maharashtra’s transport network and enhancing connectivity within the state.
These new contracts have significantly boosted RSIIL’s order book, pushing its total to over ₹11,000 crore. This increase reflects the company’s growing presence and capabilities in the infrastructure sector. Furthermore, RSIIL is actively working on three notable packages of the Vadodara Mumbai Expressway, specifically Packages 8, 9, and 10, demonstrating its extensive involvement in major infrastructure projects across the country.
The award of these projects underscores RSIIL’s commitment to improving India’s road infrastructure and its capacity to handle large-scale construction projects. As Pune’s connectivity is set to improve with these new developments, RSIIL continues to strengthen its position as a key player in India’s infrastructure development.
