In a significant development boost for Chittorgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several projects worth approximately Rs 7,000 crore and laid the foundation stones for others. These projects include the Mehsana-Bhatinda-Gurdaspur Gas Pipeline, an HPCL LPG Plant in Abu Road, IOCL’s additional bottling plant storage in Ajmer, tourism enhancements in Nathdwara, the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Kota, and a four-lane road on NH-12 (New NH-52) in the Darah-Jhalawar-Teendhar section.
During his address, PM Modi expressed gratitude to citizens for their cleanliness efforts and highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of cleanliness, self-reliance, and competitive development. He emphasised the government’s focus on modern infrastructure development in Rajasthan, particularly expressways, highways, and railways, which will boost logistics and benefit border villages. Modi also inaugurated railway line projects, underlining the commitment to Rajasthan’s growth.
