Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has praised India’s youth for their contribution to technological advancement, marking 11 years of the Digital India initiative. In a series of posts, he highlighted how young innovators are transforming the nation into a global tech powerhouse and driving self-reliance.
The Prime Minister said that the power of technology has brought immense benefits to citizens by improving service delivery, boosting transparency, and empowering the poorest sections of society. He acknowledged that Digital India has created a robust platform for innovation over the past decade.
Responding to posts by MyGovIndia on social media platform X, Modi emphasised the importance of youth-led progress in tech application and innovation, calling it central to India’s transformation and future readiness.
The 11-year milestone of Digital India reflects the government’s push for inclusive, tech-enabled governance and a self-reliant economy led by digital empowerment.
