PHDCCI’s Civil Aviation committee successfully organised its 9th Edition of the PHDCCI Global Aviation & Air Cargo Summit – Scaling New Horizons – Trends for Future Sustainable Growth on 26 July 2023 at the PHD House, New Delhi.
The inaugural session was graced by Rajiv Bansal, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, and Sumita Dawra, IAS, Special Secretary (Logistics), DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.
Saket Dalmia, President, PHDCCI, Vipin Vohra, Chair- PHDCCI Civil Aviation Committee & Micheal Jain, Co-Chair, PHDCCI Civil Aviation Committee were also part of the inaugural session.
Rajiv Bansal in his keynote address complimented PHDCCI on organising a very important and topical summit on sustainable growth of the sector. He shared that it is the time of unprecedented infrastructure growth in the country and civil aviation sector is leading in this area.
Sumita Dawra also highlighted the crucial role played by the PM Gati Shakti Mission National Master Plan in transforming the nation’s infrastructure planning and advancing multi-modal capabilities and capacities.
The event also witnessed the felicitation of various Industry Leaders from the Aviation and Cargo Sector. The summit featured an exceptional line-up of distinguished speakers who made a significant impact with their deep insights. It also saw the participation of over 300 delegates, 4 power-packed sessions, 25+ speakers, and 7 hours of enriching discussions.
