Paras to supply 30 CHIMERA 200 counter-UAS units to France’s CERBAIR, boosting India’s Make in India defence exports.

Paras Anti Drone Technologies is set to export up to 30 advanced CHIMERA 200 counter-UAS systems to France-based CERBAIR. The ₹22 crore (€2.2 million) deal underscores India’s growing role as a global defence exporter under the Make in India initiative.
CHIMERA 200 is a field-proven, man-portable radio frequency system capable of detecting and neutralising UAVs across 400 MHz to 6 GHz. With omnidirectional and directional operation, low false alarm rates, and a scalable design, the system is tailored to meet evolving global security challenges. CERBAIR aims to enhance the system’s neutralisation power to counter emerging drone technologies in Europe’s volatile security landscape.
The collaboration reflects international confidence in India’s ability to manufacture high-end, mission-ready defence technologies. Paras Defence’s advanced manufacturing infrastructure supports scalable, cost-effective exports aligned with India’s $5 billion defence export target by 2025.
This partnership opens new opportunities for future deliveries through 2026, reinforcing India’s position as a trusted global supplier of smart defence solutions.
