Seven major projects assessed for improving connectivity, trade efficiency, and economic growth.

The Network Planning Group (NPG) has evaluated seven infrastructure projects spanning railways, roads, logistics, and textiles under the PM GatiShakti framework.
The review covered one highway project, one multi-modal logistics park, three railway lines, and two textile parks, aimed at enhancing multimodal connectivity and socio-economic growth.
The Ministry of Railways proposed new lines between Bakhtiyarpur–Fatuha (Bihar), Tambaram–Chengalpattu (Tamil Nadu), and Dongargarh–Gondia (Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra) to boost freight capacity, decongest routes, and improve regional integration.
The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways suggested widening NH-39 from Rewa to Churhat Tunnel and Churhat to Sidhi (Madhya Pradesh), improving freight movement for cement and coal industries.
A multi-modal logistics park in Hyderabad (Telangana) was proposed to handle 1.47 million metric tonnes of cargo annually from 2028.
The Ministry of Textiles outlined PM MITRA Parks in Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, offering integrated facilities to strengthen the textile value chain, generate employment, and enhance India’s global competitiveness.
