In a heartfelt tribute to unsung heroes shaping communities, the Confideration of NGOs marked World NGO Day at Metro Hospital Cancer Institute Faridabad on February 27, 2024. The event, attended by diverse NGOs, groups, and individuals, applauded their unwavering commitment to positive change.
Dr. Pushpendra Pratap Singh, philanthropist and Country Head of Asia Shipping International Transport, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Bijender Sorot, Secretary of Red Cross Society Faridabad, stood as the guest of honour, with distinguished guests RJ Bhavna Sharma from RMR 107.8 FM and Charter President Rotary Club Faridabad Happiness. The program aimed to honour and appreciate the passion, dedication, and tireless efforts of those working selflessly for societal betterment. Highlighting outstanding contributions, the ‘Bharat Excellence Impact Awards’ recognised organisations like Loria Pragatisheel Research & Dev. Foundation, Save Aravalli Trust, Nai Udaan, among others.
Parvesh Malik, Founder of the Confideration, emphasised that these awards motivate organisations to continue their excellent work. Co-founder Dr. Ankur Sharan shared the vision behind creating a platform uniting Faridabad’s entire NGO community, providing guidance and support.
