MatchLog teams up with DahNAY to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
MatchLog has joined forces with DahNAY, a logistics solutions innovator, to streamline supply chain management by optimising container triangulation. This collaboration aims to repurpose empty import containers for export bookings, significantly cutting down on empty container movements and reducing carbon emissions. The partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to sustainability and aligns with DahNAY’s ‘The Year of Green’ theme for its 18th anniversary.
Dhruv Taneja, Founder and CEO of MatchLog, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to join hands with DahNAY in our mutual quest for sustainability. It is an important step towards reducing carbon footprints in the logistics industry by optimising container usage and cutting down unnecessary movements.”
Murali Babu, Founder and CEO of DahNAY, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the global shift towards sustainability. “Repurposing emptied import containers to fulfill export bookings not only minimises empty container movements but also significantly diminishes carbon emissions,” Babu said.
This partnership showcases the logistics industry’s dedication to sustainability and paves the way for future innovations in green logistics. DahNAY, which operates in over 16 countries with more than 35 offices worldwide, including warehouses in the USA and UAE, recently expanded its infrastructure by acquiring container freight stations in Chennai and Tuticorin.
