Maruti Suzuki has begun exporting the Victoris SUV as the ‘Across’, shipping 450 units to global markets from Indian ports.

Maruti Suzuki has initiated the global distribution of its Victoris SUV, rebranded as the Across for international markets. The inaugural consignment, consisting of more than 450 vehicles, departed from Mundra and Pipavav ports.
This move aligns with the manufacturer’s strategy to supply the India-built model to over 100 territories, prioritising demand in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
The Across recently achieved top-tier safety status, earning five-star ratings from both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP. Following its debut at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, the SUV has become a cornerstone of the company’s export ambitions. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, noted that the firm retained its position as the nation’s leading vehicle exporter in 2025, with the new SUV expected to accelerate this growth.
In the domestic market, the vehicle serves as the flagship of the Arena range. It features a diverse selection of 1.5-litre engines, including petrol, CNG, and strong-hybrid configurations. Premium features such as a digital cockpit, ADAS, and AllGrip Select all-wheel drive allow it to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
