Mahindra Aerostructures (MASPL) seals a multi-year contract with Airbus Atlantic worth $100 million for the production and supply of metallic components and small assemblies for Airbus commercial aircraft, including the A320 family.
Mahindra Aerostructures (MASPL) and Airbus Atlantic have forged a significant multi-year agreement valued at $100 million. The contract entails MASPL supplying nearly 2,300 varieties of metallic components to Airbus Atlantic in France, sourced from its manufacturing base in India.
This collaboration augments MASPL’s existing commitments to furnish parts directly to Airbus at their facilities in France and Germany, as highlighted in a statement by Mahindra. José-Maria Trujillano, Chief Procurement Officer at Airbus Atlantic, expresses satisfaction in expanding the partnership with Mahindra Aerostructures, leveraging their robustness, expertise, and advanced technological capabilities to bolster the supply chain.
Vinod Sahay, President of Aerospace and Defence at Mahindra, remarks on the contract’s significance in furthering their association with Airbus Group, emphasising the value they aim to offer across industrial maturity, digitalization, performance, and sustainability.
