Macrotech expands logistics with ₹96 crore acquisition of two warehousing firms.
Macrotech Developers, formerly known as Lodha Developers, has announced the acquisition of Opexefi Services and One Box Warehouse for ₹47 crore and ₹49 crore, respectively. The acquisition, involving 100 percent equity in both entities, aims to bolster Macrotech’s logistics park and warehouse development capabilities. Both companies, established in recent years, have reported no turnover due to a lack of business operations.
This move aligns with Macrotech’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the logistics sector. The company previously partnered with Bain Capital and Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2022 to launch a $1 billion green digital infrastructure platform.
Additionally, Macrotech is working on several key projects, including a 1.1 million sq. ft. facility for Skechers and the Lodha Logistics Park in Kurla, focusing on in-city distribution and quick commerce. Their current portfolio includes 5.5 million sq. ft. of leasable area across multiple locations.
