Lufthansa Cargo has resumed freighter operations at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD), reinstating its partnership with Çelebi Aviation as the ground handling provider. This development reinforces Lufthansa’s connectivity on the Frankfurt-Mumbai-Hyderabad-Frankfurt route, offering enhanced cargo solutions between Europe and India.
The inaugural flight was celebrated with a warm reception by Çelebi’s team, featuring a bouquet presentation to Lufthansa’s crew and a ceremonial cake cutting. Highlighting the occasion, Tauseef Khan, CEO of Çelebi Ground Handling, stated, “We are thrilled to partner with Lufthansa Cargo once again, delivering efficient and sustainable services. This collaboration will support their growth in the Indian market and bolster global air cargo operations.”
