Continental Carriers has received the RA-3 accreditation for an off-airport common user facility from the European Union (EU) and the UK. It is the country’s first Air Freight Station on an off-airport location to receive the certification.
The recognition qualifies Continental Carriers to export directly into the European Union and the UK from a third country airport. The designation is received on the basis of the Danish National Civil Aviation Security Program (NASP) and the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 of November 5, 2015, which laid down a detailed framework for implementing the basic standards of aviation security by the Department of Transport, Great Minster House, London for the UK.
Continental Carriers, as per the conditions laid down in ‘Handling of Cargo in Customs Area’ Regulations 2009, will soon commence its cargo handling operations from 76-77, Kapashera, Bijwasan Road, New Delhi -110037.
