India Warehousing Show (IWS) 13th edition inaugurated, highlighting advancements in logistics through technology integration.
The 13th edition of the India Warehousing Show (IWS), hosted by RX India, commenced with great enthusiasm at the prestigious Yashobhoomi, India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi. This annual event, inaugurated by Surendra Ahirwar, Joint Secretary Logistics & Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has emerged as a cornerstone for professionals in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Kamlesh Gosai, Executive Director/Gati Shakti (Traffic), Railway Board (Ministry of Railways), H. N. Aswath, Development Advisor, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, and Sagar Kadu, Director Logistics, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Surendra Ahirwar, in his keynote address, emphasised the transformative impact of technology integration and human skills development in enhancing supply chain efficiency across India. He highlighted the critical role of platforms like the India Warehousing Show in fostering innovation, ideation, and collaboration. “Exhibitions and conferences such as IWS are catalysts for brainstorming and driving technological advancements in the logistics sector,” he stated. “As India looks toward 2047, our collective efforts aim to position the nation as a developed economy, supported by robust digitalisation, infrastructure improvements, and strategic investments in logistics.”

Special sessions focused on women in leadership roles within logistics and the impact of e-commerce and Q-commerce on consumer experiences.
The Yashobhoomi venue provided state-of-the-art facilities and ample space, facilitating meaningful interactions among industry professionals to collaborate, innovate, and drive forward the logistics industry in India.
