India and the US held high-level talks, aiming to boost trade, expand secure supply chains, and cooperate on defence and critical tech.

High-level diplomatic consultations were held in New Delhi to review the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
The primary agenda items included trade, investment, defence, and accelerating the implementation of the TRUST (Transforming Relationship Utilising Strategic Technology) initiative.
A key focus of the talks was on bolstering the supply chain relationship. Both nations agreed to advance cooperation in supply chain resilience and securing trusted supply chains for critical sectors. The US specifically stressed its intent to deepen collaboration in defence, energy, technology, and trusted supply chains.
The TRUST initiative is designed to establish secure supply chains, foster innovation, and expand cooperation on critical technologies like AI and semiconductors, which are vital components in the modern logistics and manufacturing ecosystem.
India and the US also reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral trade, aiming for a target of USD 500 billion by 2030.
